Barbeque Nation has become one of the most fiercely growing restaurant chain in India. I personally have started liking it since it began with its initiative of Kulfination. This time Barbeque Nation has come up with a new outlet on Sohna Road at Spaze Platinum Tower. Designed on the theme of signature ambiance Barbeque Nation, Sohna Road is a spacious outlet.

At a prime location, Barbeque Nation was fully decorated with flowers and rangoli. It was amazing to see balloons all around. Kids would have loved being there. Then I saw students from Navjyoti participating in activities. It was wonderful to see Barbeque Nation serving a noble cause. In a while Mrs Suchitra Dhanani, Director of Barbeque Nation and children from Navjyoti Institute, inaugurated the outlet. It was a very nice gesture from Barbeque Nation to provide this opportunity to students. They seemed very happy and confident.

What did I see @ Dinosaur & Fossil Park, Ahmedabad

Dinosaur & Fossil Park

After our long trip to Rann Utsav, Mandvi, Sasan Gir and Diu, we came back to Ahmedabad at our relatives house for a day to spend time with them and also explore Ahmedabad. My uncle suggested that kids would love to visit Dinosaur & Fossil Park. Back at home we discuss a lot about Dinosaurs. My little one even made a poem on Dinosaurs. So, we excitedly headed to the park with water bottles and few snacks as we knew it would take minimum 3 hours for us to and fro and to explore.

As we entered the park, kids were thrilled at the sight of dinosaur models. That was a life size model and I too was amazed to see the model. I have seen the movie Jurrassik Park and was not less than a horror for me. I was little at that time. So, was seeing the life size model for the second time. I had seen one museum in USA. But that was like 5 years back. Seeing it with kids was a different experience altogether. There was a variety of dinosaurs. Flying dinosaurs , herbivorous, carnivorous, hippopotamus shaped and many more. There were many fossils that we could see. Even big eggs of Dinosaurs were also preserved. A very interesting thing was that the Dinosaur & Fossil Park was very well kept.

Reaching back again, we ordered refreshing tea frtom Thamel restaurant. Next morning after Mountain flight, we returned to hotel and had our breakfast at Thamel Restaurant.

Not once or twice, but for the past six years, I have made treks to Himalayas as part of my life. Every year I ensure to visit Himalayas at least once or twice. The peace and simplicity of the mountains is in perfect harmony with the people inhabiting there, and this attracts me the most. The added advantage is that in such high altitude, mobile phone network doesn’t work and I am left to enjoy the nature without any disturbance. Restaurant Review- Zai, Greater Kailash 2, Delhi

Located amidst the greens of GK2, restaurant Zai lures to its beautifully done ambiance inside a furbished decor and to an open sitting area. Set in a sophisticated atmosphere with dark brown furniture and a magnificent chandeliers, the aura was inviting and comfortable. Having two floors of the restasurant with a high cieling gave it a spacious look.There was a staunch smell in the upper floor probably because washrooms were getting cleaned. Seating arrangement outside was enticing with shades surrounded with greenery.

First sip of salted fresh lime soda was refreshing in the afternoon. Vegetarian platter had luscious dahi kebab. Hara kebab was delicious too. Both had perfect blend of spices and were juicy while being crispy.

Hong Kong Celebrates Fire Dragon Festival with Hugh Jackman

World Renowned actor Hugh Jackman was there in Hong Kong promoting his upcoming thriller 'Pan'. He participated in Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance Festival on September 28, 2015 in Hong Kong.The legend says that in 19th century, the population of village Tai Hang ceased an epidemic with a fire dragon dance. Since then, it is an yearly custom  where about 300 performers dance the fire dragon, which is made up of 72,000 sticks of burning incense and a 67 meters long dragon through the narrow streets of Tai Hang.

Everything was scheduled. We had an evening flight. Soon we landed at the Ahmedabad Airport. From there, it was a 30 minutes run to our relatives house. They all were waiting for us. We loved the air. It was February so, quiet pleasant.  A very nice change that I and kids realized was that we could gaze at stars in the sky. That reminded me, there is a lot to do in Delhi to be able to gaze at infinite diamonds in the sky. Anyways, we reached our relatives house after an awesome journey in the car breathing the air of Ahmedabad. We ensured that all window glasses were down.
