Rajasthan Tourism - A stud in Indian Tourism

India is a jewel for tourism. Varied landscapes-  mountains, hills, lakes, seas, oceans , desert, beaches and what not ! Even a lifetime is not enough to explore the country. Rajasthan is one of my favourite states in India. I just love visiting Rajasthan every time. Rajasthan is one place where you will find hills and deserts.

The main thing that I love about Rajasthan is its hospitality which is the best in world. Wherever you go, be it a hotel or Resort or a restaurant or for that matter even a tourist site seeing spot,  you would love the hospitality provided by the people. There people are very kind, approachable and helpful. No wonder why Rajasthan Tourism is becoming more and more popular.

Kashmiri Food Festival @ Seasonal Tastes, Westin Gurgaon

Kashmir has always fascinated me! Although I have not been to Kashmir ever , but love its cuisine and place through photographs. I love Kashmiri clothes as well. I was excited to know that Kashmiri food festival was being celebrated at restaurant Seasonal tastes of Westin Gurgaon. So, I wanted to experience the same.

Ambiance of Seasonal Tastes

It was a lovely and cool evening. At the entrance of restaurant Seasonal Tastes, there was a Kashmiri team playing soothing Kashmiri music.

Ambiance of the restaurant was quiet and sophisticated. Well lit lights, matching furniture and sparkling floors added to the whole atmosphere. Serving staff wore Kashmiri Pathani suits and topis (Kashmiri caps). All dining tables had a little shikara boats as showpieces with a note on Kashmiri cuisine. I liked the concept. There were two separate buffets laid. Asian cuisine and Indian Cuisine. In Indian cuisine, they had Kashmiri food.

What's hot page- Delhi Times and Imly Rajouri Garden

What's hot page is one of the most interesting entertainment, food, lifestyle, fashion trends zone in Delhi Times. Most of us look forward to it! I was invited to participate in what's hot City pub crawl activity which was organised by Delhi times. I was thrilled for the same and was eager to participate in the process. In the process I had to experience and review some of the restaurants of Delhi. I chose Imly in Rajouri garden. When we reached Imly it was already crowded rather I would say overcrowded.

Ambiance
At the entrance, there was a big Imly bus which displayed various locations of Imly. Above the bus was a so called bus stand but I thought it was more of an open double decker bus.

The cutlery, ambiance , things like old stereo, books, stove were displayed to match the street food ambiance. Manager already knew about our visit to their restaurant.
Food
We took a seat and soon the dishes starting pouring in. The first one that we tasted was golgappe which was offered to us in a glass holder which was holding little glasses. One glass was full of mashed potatoes and a little bit of Chanas. The other glass had saunth (sweet chutney) and rest four glasses had sweet and spicy golgappa water respectively. Golgappas were placed on those glasses. It was a nice presentation and Golgappes were delicious too!

Then came another favourite cheese burst Dosa which was equally delectable and mouthwatering. Little dosas full of cheese and mashed potato masala of a normal Dosa was served with coconut chutney , tomato chutney and two more tasty chutneys.
