Satiate your taste buds at Restaurant 51, Xandari Harbour in Kochi

Restaurant 51 at Xandari Harbour is a 100 year old spices warehouse converted into restaurant. The name of the restaurant is 51.
I was amazed to know this and thought the name is so good and auspicious. As we in India consider any of 21,31,41...101 and likewise as auspicious numbers.

Ambiance of restaurant 51

The restaurant 51 has a design that is a fusion of contemporary and traditional. There are wall sized windows overlooking the lake.

YotelAir, the transit hotel at Paris Airport

When I was travelling to Mexico, I had to spend a night at the Paris Airport due to some technical error in the plane. So, I was offered an accommodation at the Paris Airport property- YotelAir
YotelAir
YotelAir
YotelAir is a transit hotel having all amenities that can cater to a single night stay at the airport. I was given a small cabin which was just apt for a single person.

Ambiance

I loved the ambiance owing to its colour combination. There were good interiors.

Enjoy delicious Coastal food at Off The Hook launched by Desee Dakshin

We came to know about Managalorian food in Rajouri Garden and I was quite excited about the same. Easily accessible in Rajouri Garden, this restaurant- Off The Hook, launched by Desee Dakshin caught our attention and we reached there to review the same.

Ambiance at Off The Hook

It was a nice and cosy ambiance wherein there were dim lights and light and cool furniture. One table had a glittering view to Najafgarh road and metro. We took that one and just loved the view from there. There was bar right opposite. We met the owner Mr. Kishan Alva who has opened this restaurant out of passion as he wanted to showcase Mangalorian food.

Food

Soon after meeting Mr. Alva, snacks started pouring in. I must say Mr. Alva and his staff showcased warm hospitality. Restaurant is very kids friendly. We had spring rolls and honey chilly potatoes on kids demand and the snacks were delectable, non oily and with a perfect blend of spices.

They were crisp too! Then we had Chicken Kundapuri. It was delicious. Chicken pieces were tender and there was coconut slices and kari patta that added to the magical aroma of the dish. The presentation was great and enticing.

Top five things to consider before zorbing

Zorbing is a great sport. It comes in two variations dry and wet. It’s a lot of fun if done with precautions. I did wet Zorbing at Naukuchiyatal and dry at Haiwa Heavens resort in jaipur. Both were great experiences for me. It’s not difficult to sorb at all. Even kids do it easily. If you have good stamina and energy, you will love this sport. There are few things that one must take care of before enjoying the sport.

Naukuchiya Tal, the lake where you can enjoy adventure sports while having breathtaking views of nature

Naukuchiya Tal is the sightseeing destination around Nainital. I had visited the site around 25 years ago. Authorities from Sterling Resorts suggested to us to visit Naukuchiya Tal and also about adventure sports there. Kids were super excited for the same. It took us about half an hour to reach from Sterling Nainital.
[caption id="attachment_12222" align="alignnone" width="669"]Naukuchiya Tal Naukuchiya Tal[/caption]
It was so nice to have the view of Naukuchiya Tal. Naukuchiya Tal has got nine corners. Hence the name. We first did zip line. My son enjoyed it more than me as he had done it in a sitting posture as he was accompanied with the guide. I wasn’t as comfortable. The zip line was above the lake surrounded by mountains. The view was brilliant and air was fresh. My son loved the zip line.
After zip line we did zorbing which was great fun for all of us. I had done it with both my sons and we all loved it. Even I learnt the way to crawl. It was a good exercise for three of us. I felt team work was established between theee of us. Since it was our first time, I was a bit scared but would love to do it again.

Enjoy the charisma of a floating Village in Siem Reap, Cambodia

Floating village , isn’t the name fascinating? I was intrigued by the name. Is it that people spend the whole of their life floating?

Is it that they shop, eat, sleep, drink, educate, enjoy everything while floating?
