We went on a short weekend trip to visit
Sariska tiger reserve. After a swift journey from Delhi we reached Sariska Palace by noon and checked in. Although , the last three kilometers was very bumpy due to broken roads , it became comfortable as we entered Sariska Palace. Sariska was just 5 hours drive from Delhi. The hotel Sariska Palace was an inviting property. We learnt that this was a royal hunting lodge of King of King of Alwar. This was converted to a hotel. The property is just opposite to Sariska Tiger Reserve in Alwar District of Rajasthan. Hotel had sprawling lawns welcoming us as we entered the palace.
