We went to Sbarro chain's, outlet in Connaught Place in Delhi in the afternoon.
Ambiance
An amazing ambiance with mezzanine floor to itself. White walls were inviting and big postures of food and foodies were inspiring to eat more :-) .
It had a live saute pasta station and kitchen on the ground floor where pasta, pizza crust and many things like desserts were being prepared. The counter had mouth watering desserts as well. There was sitting arrangement both on ground and mezzanine floor. It gave a spacious look.
Food
Presentation of food was attractive and luring. We had white sauce and red sauce pastas, chicken stuffed pizza, New York white cheese pizza. All were delicious and lip smacking. Food had perfect amount of spices cheese, vegetables and oil.
In desserts we had frosted carrot cake. I was full but could not resist eating the cake. It was super delicious with nuts, cream in every layer and was very soft. We just loved it.
Good thing was that the food is pocket friendly and economical. You can also customize it to your taste.
Speciality of this chain is that the mozzarella cheese is made 100% whole milk and they have home made pizza crust that is prepared from scratch in live kitchen. Sbarro has three types of pizza crust - New York style, stuffed crust and pan crust.
The quality, preparation and presentation were all up to the mark.
Service at Sbarro
Sbarro's staff was energetic, courteous and prompt. There were no complaints at all. If one gets quick service with smiling faces while eating, what else one wants. It was visible that staff was genuinely happy while serving.
Sbarro has a 4 minutes of turnaround time. Also the quality and freshness of food is the key for this chain.
Kitchen
We also had a look at the kitchen. It was well maintained and well kept. A big refrigerator was neat and clean.
All pasta packs were of high standard and lined up nicely. There was a Pizza crust dough processing machine.
