Eiffel Tower, magnificent Tower of the world!

Months before beginning the planning of my Europe Trip, at the sub conscious level, there was always a special focus on Eiffel Tower. I used to intentionally get rid of that thought out of my mind. Somehow or the other, Eiffel Tower used to grab my attention enough to once mention it to my mother- 'It seems that Eiffel Tower is calling me.' You know what! My husband soon suggested a trip to Paris. He was serious about it. I was exhilarated at this suggestion!!! Wow, Eiffel Tower was indeed calling me I thought. And this special day came when we were to witness Eiffel Tower in person.

This day, we all were super excited to see it first hand. There was a long queue and we had to wait for some 15 minutes to get our turn for the lift.

Change of Guards Ceremony at Buckingham Palace, London

Change of Guards Ceremony at Buckingham Palace is a major attraction for tourists over the world. In this ceremony, the gurad transfers the responsibility of protection of Buckingham Palace and St. James Palace to the new guard.

We were supposed to reach the Palace at 10.30. Normally, The Change of Guards Ceremony was starts at 11am. As we reached, we could see thousands of tourists all around the Palace.

Beautiful view of river Seine along with marvelous architecture of buildings by the river

River Seine, also know as La Seine in French, is a 777 km long commercial Waterway.

We knew from our itinerary about river Seine. After Eiffel Tower, we were to do river Seine Cruise. After like 15- 20 minutes walk, we reached the port where we were to board the boat for River Seine. It was a big boat and had two levels. We took our seat at the top level to enjoy better view while enjoying the weather.

There was a beautiful bridge that came and it had nice golden statues. It was a lovely sight.

Grand Finale of our trip at Mercure Roma West , Rome

After all the roaming around in Europe across 7-8 countries and commute in bus all through, one gets tired. Isn't it? But you know, we loved that tiredness. Sleep used to hug us immediately whenever we hit beds. Kids and we used to love running around through the day and we used to retire to beds remembering fond moments spent during the day. Each day had a different gift for us. After all of this, when we stayed at the last hotel of our trip, we were elated. Mercure Roma West was a brilliant property.

Couldn't get enough of enthralling Rhine Falls in Switzerland

Since the time we were in Switzerland, we kept doing one or the other gripping sightseeing destinations. Even views of the countryside and important towns were such that we were totally hooked to the window of our bus all the time. We visited Rhine Falls in Zurich, Switzerland.

Rhine Falls is the largest water falls of Switzerland and Europe. It lies in between the cantons of Schaffhausen and Zürich.

We all were exhilarated when we reached the place. It was such a beauty from far. Upon reaching the exact, place, we learnt that we can do boating and reach almost the bottom of falls. Oh, you can't imagine, we were yearning to ride the boat!

Hotel Novotel Suites Paris Velizy, a wonderful stay with family

In Paris, I had not expected a big hotel room, Paris being expensive and short on space. When we reached the Hotel Novotel Suites Paris Velizy, we were surprised! It was a big room. Property was really nice.

At the entrance was the lobby with dining area. There was space for buffet. Kitchen was by the reception area. There was a play area for kids where they kept playing table hockey for hours. It was so much fun for them. Still when I talk about it, they go ga ga about the property. To the left of reception were rooms and elevators. The are aof the lobby was quirky and had vibrant colours which kept the ambiance energetic.

Our room was a nice one. At the entrance was a little toilette to the right. Then was an open area heading to a study table. Next to study table was a single sofa to sit by the window and enjoy. This area was partitioned by a curtain.
