The Château de Labourdonnais, a royal residency of 19th century Mauritius of a strong figure Christian Wiehe. The mansion was built in 1856 with Italian and Victorian influence.
I was curious to see how royal families lived in 19th century. This was a modern yet luxurious house while maintaining the traditions. The entrance was refreshing with three fountains. As In entered, two lions welcomed with a lobby behind. Big traditional chandeliers with sparkling floors looked elegant.
