Vietnam is a destination that is very beautiful with splendid views, timeless charm, breathtaking landscapes, jaw dropping sceneries and very hospitable and friendliest people. I did not want to miss a single opportunity to know more about the country. So, I was there at the Vietnam Roadshow held at Hotel Samrat in Delhi on 20th of April.
As I met with dignitaries of Vietnam, it was clear that people of the country were really hospitable with a warm smile. After getting through the full conference, I may visit Vietnam sooner than later.
First of all, H.E. Mr. Ton Sinh Thanh, Ambassador of Vietnam addressed the media and travel partners and elaborated on the beautiful beaches and sightseeing options at Vietnam. He welcomed Indian travellers to Vietnam assuring a memorable experience and passionate hospitality. He mentioned about the Culture Tourism, Leisure Tourism, City Tourism, Nature Tourism that is being promoted by Vietnam. He told us about the mix of Chinese and Japanese culture in Vietnam. His Excellency said, Vietnam has had 70,000 Indian travellers and the target is to increase it by 20%-30%.
Further elaborated Mr. Le Tuan Any, Deputy Director General International Cooperation Department, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism about food tourism - famous dishes like Puo, Barhny, Chaca, Bunrieu and spring rolls . He said one can spend hours at the coast, relaxing, doing beach sports. City tourism would involve culture, shopping, performances, food, nightlife, meetings, incentives, and exhibitions. He said...
