About Kushak Mahal

Kushak Mahal is housed in Teen Murti Bhawan. Meaning of Kushak is 'King'. Kushak Mahal was probably used to be a hunting lodge or Shikar ghar of King Firoz Shah Tughluk during A.D - 1351 -88. This structure is made by rubble and sand. Having three arched openings with three compartments, this structure stands on a 5 meter high terrace. It is said to be inline with an embankment used to store rain water which no longer exists.
