Hotel Review: Mantra on view at Surfer's Paradise , Gold Coast Australia

After a good research about Australia and the destinations within, we finally decided to choose Gold Coast in the bucket list of Australia sightseeing. Mantra on View in Gold Coast was one perfect hotel which not only provided the perfect accommodation to us but also the view of grand Pacific Ocean.

I was really skeptical about the view from our room. This hotel did not deprive us of the divine scenery.

We reached the property in the evening and the sun did not set till 8.30pm. We had a lot of time to roam around.

As we settled in the property, there was some free time to enjoy. The beach was only 3 minutes walking distance from the property. It was easily accessible so would run to the beach whenever we got free time.

Jungfrau, is one of the most heard name when you plan to visit Switzerland. Jungfrau is popularly known as ‘Top of Europe’.

Jungfrau is a full fledged campus in itself. A lot is said about Jungfrau, its railways system, its observatory, cavern.

Its railways is known for generating electricity while going downhill since 1912. There is a manual check per week of the track for full 9.2 kms. A railway employee does the check on foot.

Things to do at Colosseum, Rome in just half an hour

Have you seen the Bollywood movie - Jeans's song- Ajooba having scenes of Colosseum. Most of the sites in song are amongst wonders of the world. I used to always admire those locations. Never thought that one day I will be visiting one of them in Europe! Indeed, a feeling of visiting a site where a Bollywood movie was shot is unparalleled.

We were given only half an hour to see Colosseum and take pictures. Its a great site! This is the largest amphitheater in the world. It’s one of the seven wonders of the world!  The structure of Colosseum was completed in AD 80. Which means about 2000 years ago! That time, it could seat 50,000 people. It took almost 9 years to complete this incredible building. This place was normally used for public spectacles, gladiatorial contests. This open area used to get covered with a humongous fiber during rains.

Enhance your kid's creativity this festive season with new range of LEGO

New Age kids are very energetic and have access to a lot of knowledge. The energy they possess must be used creatively. My kids used to be busy for hours in building blocks during their earlier years. Just provide them with blocks you and would not realize their presence. I was pleasantly surprised to see his talent of impromptu presentation.

What if you loose your group with which you are travelling Internationally!

What if you loose your group internationally? Well, a strange thing happened with me in Brussels. We had snacks at a restaurant and later went to enjoy ice cream at Grand Place Square.

I had to go back to the restaurant to freshen up while my family was enjoying ice cream. As I was confident of the way, I left for the restaurant alone. Gosh! While coming back, I lost my way. I immediately calmed myself first and ensured that I remained composed and walked as if nothing has happened.
