Jagannath Puri is one of the most treasured and sacred Hindu Temples in India. Its said that Sri Krishna’s living heart is there still beating in the murti.

The story says that one devoted Raja- Indradyumna did not see his God Bhagwan Nila Madhav after many prayers. He then decided to lie on Kusa grass and fast until death if he doesn’t see the God Nila Madhav. Raja was blessed to get instructed by his God in his dream about his presence in the wooden form that he could get carved in the form of his murti.

The Residency Towers Rameshwaram, a place of ataraxia!

 The Residency Towers in Rameshwaram was our only 'Go To' property as per our research online. Aesthetic ambiance, customer friendly staff, huge spaces and to top it all, a big massive Gita was kept in the lobby which was a center of attraction for many.

Annai Resorts and Spa Kanyakumari, best property to stay

 Annai Resorts and Spa in Kanyakumari is the best property to stay. Having done all the research on net, we decided to stay at this property. We thanked ourselves for making this decision. This vast property is at a prime location facing the sea and it is very near to the sunset point and also near the market along with the Vivekananda Statue boarding point. The property has all categories of rooms with higher categories having the jacuzzi, Presidential suites and more. Reception area leads to multiple floors and downstairs restaurant.

Abad Whispering Palms, a relaxing revival destination at Kumarakom

Abad Whispering Palms is a property in Kumarakom that is overlooking the Wembanad Lake. Kumarakom is one of the best destinations in Kerala. This was my second visit to Kumarakom. Full of lush greenery, beautiful skies, serene lake and magnificent properties amidst these hypnotic views, Kumarakom has always mesmerised me. This time our kids were to witness this splendid place.

Abad Whispering Palms was our perfect choice for two nights and three days to stay here in Kumarakom. Our rooms were overlooking the Wembanad Lake.

Though there are multiple categories of rooms. Some are lake facing, some garden and others had private pools. We were keen to have Lake View rooms. There was a garden outside the room. Trees were planted all around. It had a nice walkway to stroll around and enjoy the cool breeze.

Venice Premium Houseboats Alleppey, Kerala

 Venice Premium Houseboats are the Houseboat providers in Alleppey. This was supposed to be my fifth trip to Kerala and third experience of Houseboat. We wanted our kids to experience the God's Own Country in their own way.  Its so truly said - 'One Lifetime is not enough to see the whole of India'. Every time I visit Kerala, it provides me a new view with a different pleasant perspective.

We had planned to stay in houseboat in Alleppey to provide special experienc e to kids. It was tough to choose between so many luxury premium Houseboat providers. However, I was finally able to zero down to Venice Premium Houseboats. I was glad on my choice. Venice Premium Houseboats have a variety of boats.

The boat starts its journey between 12-1pm. We boarded the boat from Thottathodu in Alleppey. It was a nice quiet area near Punnamada Hotel. We were welcomed with soft drinks followed by lunch on the boat.

Our preferences for food were already noted by the boat authorities prior to our arrival.

This was a premium luxury boat with the deck on the first floor. They also had a restaurant and one room with washrooms on the first floor. The ground floor of the boat had a reception area, three bedrooms and a kitchen. The boat pilot was in the front.

The boat was neat and clean and was kept at the best hygiene levels. Reception had nice jazzy lights. It was fully air conditioned boat with air conditioning all the time being the premium segment.
